I have no idea, but what I could tell is that the yellow ISPDUSA car had black side moldings, JDM head lights, fog covers, and I think the spoiler was stock. Not sure if he had mods, but he took off fast when I was just following in 6th gear.
Anyhow, it's a great feeling to see a fellow subie on the roads and get the wave.

Sure there is a 2.5 liter long block that is what chris has. He just has stock WRX heads on it and i didnt mention it as anything special besides the STi shortblock.
Well if you are just talking blocks than the correct term would be shortblock that is w/o the heads. with heads it is a long block. I just said short block because that was the modification done to the engine.

for example an I-6 would be a long block and a V6 would be a shorty.

Well, I would imagine that if your are going to achieve maximum hp, then I would go with the 2.4 closed deck because it is just a stronger block all the way around. But we will have to see if there is more potential with the 2.5 semi-closed deck.
