100% true.. I only use xbox when I play with high school friends... just makes it easier as some never really built a PC good enough for quality gaming or just have bad internet connection. As far as I can tell I am probably going towards the xbox one unless Sony fixes the holes in their panties. Of course a new console launch is never perfect but seems they have just been hitting every pothole one the road since release.

If you're a PC gamer at all, then to me it seems the obvious console option is PS4 since it's looking like XBONE exclusives will also come to PC, while PS4 exclusives will be PS4 exclusive.

 

The only problem is... none of my friends have a play station. Ive been played PC games my whole life. I just jump onto xbox when I decide to play with friends who prefer console gaming. its not all about the games buddy, sometimes its more about the implementation and how well it works with current and future games. I have personally never been a play station fan because 80% of my gaming is online and I dont like the online gaming community on ps. It could have changed since the last time i played on one was 2 years ago so i'll have to wait and see till both consoles are out, see which I will prefer and whether or not its better to abandon my friends who will continue onto the xbox route or make them join playstation.

 

This! I had the 360 and ps3 and my 360 sat till i gave it to my dad. It was only good for 360 exclusive and for playing PAL DVD's. The ps3 is hands down a better media center machine and i suspect the ps4 will outshine the 360 in that area as well. There have been plenty of pot holes on both units roads to deployment and there will be wrinkles to iron out for both units as well. It is another reason why i will wait to pick up a new console. let them work out the bugs and let the dust settle, let some more titles come out as well.
