I'm not saying I found it to be humorous. Nor did I say I’d like to shake this guys hand because I wouldn't. But to suggest his act is even more unacceptable than crossing the border illegally is foolish.
Agreed......

The way he was talking about them was definately very racist though.....calling them beaners, etc.

Probably so. Still don't have access to speakers.

Nobody has a civic duty to be a vigilante. Or an idiot.

"Vigilante" is quite a stretch.

So, if your next door neighbor started a chop shop in his garage, you'd do nothing?

But a chop shop is illegal and illegal immigrants are... wait... crap. You guessed it! I don't care if you sugar coat it with "undocumented worker" or tell me how they're "just trying to make a living." A lot of hippies are "just trying to get high" when they smoke the reefer. Guess what!? Until it's legal to smoker marijuana (which I am for btw) I will respect it as an illegal act.

Sure, the man may have used racist terms but he's no more racist than many of your stand-up comedians (mostly black and Latino comedians that center their entire routine on white people) that make their millions at the expense of racial comedy.

You don't record a vigilante mission. You record what you believe to be comedy at the driveway of LA counties immigration office. Some laugh and others, like yourself, think it's a bad joke. Big deal. Did you honestly think a mob of border patrol officers were going to storm out of the office? HA! If they're were so effective then this video would not exist in the first place. Most of them are the equivalent to DMV desk workers that could give a damn.

Pretty sure no one thinks like that, which is the problem with this debate. People dont have a problem with immigrants entering legally, what people have a problem with is the fact that it is done illegally. I dont know why this is so difficult to understand.

hmmm somewhat funny prank made me smile not laugh. hopefully people didnt react with the racist card because of the logo "amazing racist" on the end... so far the only thing that i really think he did that was F'd up is making them ride on the truck bed... its dangerous and could be lethat if somebody fell off...

As for the term ******... I got no problem with it as long as no one reacts if these so called "beaners" use the term *******, *****, ******, or whatever to refer respectively to what they should refer to...

and just to put things on perspective... how come i dont see the same reaction when news makes a special report about the school system featuring a whole load of white 18 year olds who could barely read...

bottom line, stop whining... let the guy have his fun as long as the other guys get to have their fun too (could also translate as, don't get mad get even)

EDIT: oh yeah by the way I'm a filipino legal immigrant... thats FOB for you locals

What the guy did was rude on some level I guess, but um.. I don't see how anyone here (especially people that rag on pot smokers, etc) can find fault in giving illegal aliens a scare.

Sure he said some naughty and impolite things, but that's his right as an American isn't it? I am not standing by his comments and am the last person to be a racist (white guy in Hawaii). Just step outside of the situation and look in. People used to threaten me and call me haole and stuff, but I am not going to picket their houses or whine about it. It's their choice to look like ignorant fools.

I found a few comments people made pretty funny.

"Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses."

Sure so long as they aren't a hard working, tax paying citizen. My job I left in Mountain View was full of people who immigrated here. These people also took it upon themselves to take an interest in the country and learn our language. No one made them be a part of our system, they did it because they wanted to help and be a part of the system they were joining unlike these people in the video.

"Less fortunate?" Are you effing kidding?? Less fortunate in my eyes is a single mom working 3 jobs to get her kid fed and taxes paid. Not someone who stowed away to get here and work jobs under the table. You people that harp on about 'how America was founded" and all that are speaking out of both sides of your mouth.

Remember that thing about the police stopping the DUI checkpoints in Oakland because it was causing discomfort to unlicenced illegal aliens who were 'otherwise abiding the law?' Us taxpayers could dream of such preferential treatment.

after watching it again, it seems pretty fake. there are a lot of edits and tons of camera angles. Did the guy have like a 3 camera crew following him around or something?

The skit was funny, racist, and fake. Illegal immigration is an argument no one can win. Yes, they came here illegally, but ... I dare say illegal immigrants are the backbone of the American economy. Has anyone been to the farms in San Joaquin (sp) valley? These farms exist solely because of illegal immigrants who live in makeshift sheds behind some strawberry field. Has anyone been to a home development site lately, - yep, the contractors hire undocumented laborers.

I can see where people can have heartburn if illegals came and took without giving anything in return. However, when these individuals are contributing to the society, I believe it is an injustice to treat them as criminals. After all, last time I looked, Americans are the ones employing illegals and without this, there will be no incentive to come over here. To use someone without pay is not too far from slavery.

Kind of ironic that this has come up while I happen to be doing construction on my house.

Have I hired any hispanics to do work on my house? You bet.

Are some of them working here illegally? No doubt.

Do I care? Absolutely.

Is it my responsibility to fix the problem? No way.

I still believe that you treat people the way you would want to be treated. Call me old school, but I refuse to treat immigrants as second-class citizens. I'd rather see these guys standing in front of Home Depot looking for work that standing in a welfare line.
