i love how the right wingers think that they can just print more money to pay off our increasing debt..

that is called running a record debt, kerry should raise taxes a bit just so that we dont compelte destroy the dollars valuation. (which would destroy the worlds economy).....

To be honest we WILL HAVE TO RAISE TAXES sooner or later, if not we will destroy the dollar with increasing debt, which would mean that investors would start pulling out of hte us economy, thus sounding hte death toll for our "wonderful economy"....

so hate to say it mexican, but taxes will have to come up as well as other propgrams (military spending, social programs etc) will have to be cut (10 bucks says education is the first to get cut)

 

I also love how the republicans always say "the national debt doesn't matter as long as we have a strong economy. the debt is just a number...the health of the economy is more important."

Shoot...the health aint' gonna be that great when the debt gets to a point where foreign investors are no longer hedging their bets on the dollar. I feel it's becoming that way already. I'd probably place my faith more in the euro than the dollar. I mean we keep comparing the dollar to the yen...but jeez look at the euro.

 

ya the euro will be the currency to fight in the future for sure, the yen is a joke if you ask me, but i dont know much.. haha

 

i signed up for it yesterday. around 7pm last nite, it went down.

then around 2-3 am thismorning, it was up again.

Hey Now everyone this is Howard and I'm writing to you because this bulletin board has been quite the experience. Like you, I have been unable to log on since this morning and post my crap. Let me explain what is going on and see if I get this right. I've been on the phone with the various computer experts, Dreamtank, Jeff Schick from IBM and just about everyone except Bill Gates and the basic opinion is that they have never seen anything on the internet like what happened today. Within minutes of opening the BB we had thousands log on and at one point this afternoon forty thousand people were on the board creating a community for all of us. The problem was that over one hundred thousand people were waiting to get in and that's when one server blew up (whatever that means.) The guys at Dreamtank told me we fried the server and that sounds serious. All of the servers that Dreamtank owns were put into action but they couldn't handle the demand and they were forced to shut down. They tried something called a lock down for awhile but that didn't do the trick. Here's what I'm thinking about when it comes to the next move. Since we need stacks of servers to accommodate the demand I will begin thinking about a few advertisers. The original thought was that three servers would handle all the traffic and apparently that doesn't even begin to put a dent in the amount of hardware we need. I have been approached by several sponsors and I'm thinking that this is the only way to create an operation that can pay for all the servers. I can imagine a bulletin board where all of us can communicate in the event that the FCC has their way with the show and I am forced to go off the air for awhile until we can all regroup somewhere. In order to create a bb that will allow hundreds of thousands of people it will take a few days to figure out a plan. So in the meantime the guys will try to create a BB that will allow ten thousand people in at a time. At least some people will be able to use the boards while we begin to build an environment that can accommodate everyone. Like an overcrowded club the BB will let one person in when someone leaves, or something like that. Hopefully Lizzie Grubman won't show up at the club and run people over in the parking lot. That's the scoop. Keep checking back and we will begin to get this thing up and running. Over the next couple of days we should be able to handle hundreds of thousands of people once we pull it all together. When that happens we will have the largest community of people gathered together under one roof on the internet...like Woodstock but without the music, the drugs and the mud. I have no ability to explain what is going on technically and I'm sure my rudimentary understanding of all this is laughable but that's all I know right now. I'll keep you posted.

some guy called the show on friday and told him (howard) that he was a monitor for another sight and told them some things they should be doing and what to lookout for and "bam" howard says you're hired. man only wish i knew more about computers etc... i'd love to work for those guys.

 

Can I ask, dr3d1zzl3 why do you make everything so political? I've been surfing and posting in this forums for awhile and just have noticed that if someone post something with a hint of politcal subject, you tend to go off. Just was wondering why?

Stern is very creative but lazy. He relies upon the most base humor to get ratings for money. His show in the 80's (back in the day) when he was on in only a few markets was as raunchy but much better IMHO.

I honestly believe if he challenged himself more in an artistist fashion and didnot rely upon low brow humor he could really shine. Likewise he would gain support and respect from his peers and others in the entertainment industry.

 

Moores movie is nothing but smoke and mirrors...he's manipulated the media and created his own little fantasy world. If you believe everything in that movie, I'd like to sell you some beach front property. The news has already interviewed people that Moore interviewed and they said first hand that Moore doctored and edited the footage. It's like reality T.V. If you've been paying attention you'd know that there is nothing real about it. It's all scripted and edited. Moore is a big fat *** clown. By the way, what has he had to offer in the way of making things better? Sorry I just had to rant...everytime I hear that guys name I just want to spit....no offense to anyone.

And his movie SHOWS FACTS, not random bits of falisified information (like for isntance what our intel agencies put out on iraqis WMD capabilities...)

So please do provide links with data and facts for all your claims, and im sure he edited the movie, that is what editors do, dont be so ****ing naive not everyone is as stupid as you are and take things for face value. FUnny how you cant seem to back up any of your claims and how you fall back on the mans weight as if that is a negative thing. 100 bucks says that your well on your way to the wonderful world of obesity.
