also, im a n00b when it comes to this, so will any seat fit any car, or are they made for certain applications?

 

as long as the seat will physically fit in the car, i'd think you should be okay. the trick is getting the right brackets, and either place i mentioned should be able to help you out with that. subarus are large enough that i can't imagine you'd have any issues with whatever seat you chose, as long as you aren't 6'5"+. like i said, someone at either Sube or Primm would probably be able to help you out with that.
