Since it's been shown time and time again that cat-back exhaust offers zero power gain, just replace the muffler.
You should be able to get a Canister, installed for less than $150

Check the classifieds section. People are getting rid of cheap exhaust all the time. I found my "loudener" for something like $75-100. It added like 100awhp on the butt dyno because of everything in the car shaking an my ears bleeding past 3500rpm.

It will take some patience but you should be able to find a cheap one. Or I think some people get "blast pipes" made for $100 at any muffler shop.

But I am getting sick of my exhaust being so loud. Although I just did put 1600 miles on it in a week and the drone was killing me by the time I got back to the Bay. During the week back and forth to work I must say I like the loud rumble.

You should be able to find something pretty on here or over @ nasioc.I got my srs exhaust for $80. The previous owner replaced the whole pipe with 3 inch pipe and took the resonator off, took over to my buddy and he set it all up for me.I think even on ebay you can get one rather cheap.

You STILL have that thing?! How long have you been sitting on it?! That thing should've been making its rounds around the BAIC community like a communicable disease for the last seven years or so!!!!!! Don't tell me the line of progenitor owners stopped with you after the first 3 years!!!!

I demand that you GIVE IT to the TS for FREE if he so desires it! The legacy of the BAIC Slutpipe MUST continue!!!!
