Question WRX Wagon or Foz FXT?

Well I'm bored and deployed so I have nothing better to do than to seek out what people think I should buy and why.

I'm living overseas and probably returning back state side next fall, but can't make up what car I want. I have a very particular 2004 Foz FXT in mind if the owner is selling it by the time I return to the good 'ol U.S. and of A. But if I can't get that then probably 02-03 WRX Wagon.

/Cliff notes

bug eye wrx wagon or 04-05 foz fxt? I want more space so either one of these fit the bill but MUST be a manual trans. I've also have owned 6 various Imprezas (some jdm some usdm both of the GC and GDB variety) and feeling like I want some variety hence the foz. So sell me on either model.

well... I love bugeye wagons with jdm sedan front ends. I also like the fozz but only the 2007-2008 models. I also just happen to have a forester that I could possibly sell!! Or if you're interested, a 2005 wrx wagon with sedan front end!!!

I prefer the bugeyes for the GDBs, but if I were to get a foz it would specifically need to be an 04 since it's an easy plug n play drop in for an 04 sti motor at least. But damn it's hard enough as it is to find a 5spd for a fxt.

I'm more than certain this time is the time I return to the states as I've been overseas for the past 7yrs going on 8yrs and my luck has run out. I won't find out for certain until December though as I'm trying to get my *** back to Japan again lol.

Hey dude!

Get a forester. Way more headroom, leg room, cargo space.

What up Gagan?? Yeah I'm leaning more towards the FXT just for something different, a bit more low key, and the cargo space! I think I've had my share of the Impreza family and wanna move up to a toaster lol.

haha yeah I know man...its more like I was bored (still am) and seeing what people thought for the hell of it. The one thing that bugs me the most about foresters is the lack of manual trans availability and the interior's dash board where its half grey/black and half tan. I'd need to figure something out because I hate interiors that aren't all black.

What tan? All I see is black and gray in my interior (tan was only available for 2 of the paint colors, everything else came black/gray in 04-05)

Fxt +1 Having gone from an 04 wagon to the FXT, I can say there's no question.

Obviously the only correct answer is both. One for friends and one for fun.

If you have no intentions of off-roading or towing, just get a WRX wagon. That's what I think would be best.

Must have been a different year I was looking at but it seems the 04-07 have that interior and I hate the two tone look of it. I'm trying to research dying the parts or see if the jdm models come all black.
