Exclamation WRX Its a 4 Door car WTF..... Next Modd....

Ok... Time to let the cat out of the bag. Next Mod

But it doesn't fit very well.... WTF... What has other people here done?
I want to keep the seat center of the rear seat to help protect from a side impact. Do I sound too crazy and need to relax? I guess I could get a forester sports... lol

And before some people freak out that didn't know. Because I know there will be a few.....
These last 7 months have been hell.
I get a phone call one night.
Sherriffs office.. Is this michael.. Yeah.. Have you been taking care of your aunt.. Yes... We just found her dead.. WTF....
30 min later.. Someone calls.. You are having a kid. WTF.....
Then gone.. No phone calls since.....

Very hard to deal with all this and a few other things all at the same time.

With all the crap going down...
I have decided changed jobs from motorcycles,
Taking 3 months off (Volunteering at a montessori school)
Build my car (which helped me thru some tuff times.)
Get my house finished
And now going back to school to be a family law attorney. Have to protect my rights and my childs rights.... And wow... I am soo driven to see this thru.

Mom... Which is my x girlfriend of 4 years has made a effort to keep me away from any info.
4 phone calls over a 8 month time.

So after a few big emails, she has come forward with some details. We are in talking terms now. Baby due anytime. Gas tank filled .... Car ready to go...
She lives in Sacramento now.

So my trip to Scottsdale ended with a family baby party I guess. I have a ton of stuff and well I hope its a boy... Because we will have the best time in the world. If its a girl... She will be a princess in her and my world. Both will be racing before age 4....
Its sinking in quickly.. As I try to learn as much as I can.. Its my 1st child and might be my only.

Anyways.... Single dad status soon..... Hope this doesn't scare some people away..

yeah. i say get the sign because you have dark windows and the chp will not see the child there until after they have pulled you over.

when i was a weeee little kid my mom was in the carpool lane driving along with my brother and i in the back seat and you coud not see us. so a chp turned on his lights and my brother and i popped our heads up to see then he turned them off and let her go.

but congrats on the child. i am sure it is a huge step for you.

Congrats Mike! I am sure you will be a great Dad. If it is a girl, I am SO going to teach her how to drive you insane!
And because she will be a car chick, I will also teach her how to defeat "leg humpers" lol

I recently had to adjust to having a baby seat in the car.

the best way to do it is keep the front seat adjusted the same all the time. Then turn the babyseat sideways as you put it in, then straighten it out once its in the car. its a pain i know.

90% of car seats are fitted incorrectly so take a trip to the nearest fire station and they are trained to give advice of correct fitment.

I already want to start looking for a matching seat. Haha.. I'll take the apssenger front seat out, put a baby sparco on custom rails there with matching steering wheel. Kinda like a mini me.. haha

Disclaimer (My car has no airbag system.)

My Sparco Evo seat helps allot. But I also like to sit close to the wheel. One thing that does suck is I cant reach around to the back seat in that seat. But then again. I'll just pull over. I dont need to take that risk for something so simple.

Great idea... I am reading the directions now. I told myself in Scottsdale when I put in it. I can not put anything in the seat for the trip home. And not to pile things up around the kids seat too.

Well I did it. I got home and didn't put anything in the seat. So I am training my mind to work with the seat and someone being in there.

Baby is fine not in the middle. I put the baby behind the passenger seat. Forward facing booster for the older one goes behind the driver. When you do finally move to forward facing (it will be a while), it will be easier.

Wait, why aren't you using Latch Lock's? Does that baby seat not have them?
