I guess if you were about to buy a new front bumper or something it would be something to try. Personally I would smooth of the jump edge a little so you land a little more flat. Maybe add multiple jumps....

wouldnt that type of a landing not only ruin your bumper but bend the frame? I dunno maybee our frames are stronger than that, all I know if I were to jump anything I would not want to land like that. I would be afraid my airbags would deploy and break my neck.

indeed, even rally cars dont land like that without breaking something, thats the big reason for the huge 'box' rear wings they use, it makes them land rear wheels first when they go airborn

Nah that was still pretty awesome. I came around a corner a little hot on gravel backroads in Oregon where I used to live, and some genius had removed the culvert that was there to make a... Drainage ditch. There was nothing I could do, was going about 40 or so but it felt like that vid looked. Luckily all it did was scrape up the bottom of my bumper.

That reminds me of Dukes of Hazzard when you would see the car land on it's nose, all but fold in half and then the next scene is them driving off going WOO HOO and the narrator says something like.. "Looks like them boys got off again." or something. Sheesh, I bet that WRX is pretty messed up.

he should have accelerated into and through his air time. It would have been a more pleasant landing. You can tell that once he hit air he pullled up off the gas

going into the jump yes he should of accelerated untill he got airborn but in the air I dont think it would make a differance in the angle of how your gonna land if you step on the gas. the driver handled the landing that he was delt pretty well however yes he should of been punching it right before the jump.
