Talking WRC Ralley Greece

Anyone watch this weeks Rally Greece. It was a good race. Loeb is the man to beat this year.
There was a couple of stages where Solberg lost his whole back end. No spoiler or anything. It is a key point as he was soooo sideways in the corners! It looked like rally from ten years ago! Just goes to show you no matter how much technology you shove in a car a simple down force generator like a wing can ruin your day if it isn't working properly...

On that note it seems like Solberg and Atkinson are having more issues this year than Subaru had in previous years. Also it looks like Perrelli is just not up to snuff on gravel events like there were previously. Solberg still did well with the new tire on snow, but they need to get it together if they are going to push Loeb from the top spot.

Pirelli is definitely no cutting it this year. Gronholm will attest to that. As far as the spoiler goes... wish I was there to swipe it and toss it on my STi ;-)

I was thinking the same thing when that happened. At the end it was great to see Solberg break Loeb's windshield and say "send the bill to Subaru"...good stuff!

Thumbs up

HA!!! yeah I don't think he ment to though.. At least he was good natured about the loss, and Loeb is really on fire this year. I have to give credit though to the Citroen team. Their whole support and team effort is what has made him this successful. He knows that, and I think other teams are going to need to work harder to catch him. If your car doesn't brake and you drive clean there is no reason why you can't win. Except you have to get past Loeb first..

One of the things I noticed is that he is so fast in the corners. Peter is similer, but Loeb is soooo clean.. He can make up time anywhere in the race, so he just keeps driving the way he usually does and he wins.. I for one am impressed..
