Race and gender are the two most important descriptions you can give to "the man". it sucks that our society works that way, but that's the way it is. Thugs can change threads and cut their hair, so that will only get so far.

Also, across the street at that shell about 4 months back my neighbors had an issue with Thievies - he got attacked while filling up his gas!? they stole money and tried to steal his keys but he wouldn't let go. I think its because that area is situated a block away from 85/237 and less than a mile from 280/101 it makes it a desirable spot for theives to check. Easy escape and expensive cars....

if you have no life and listen to police scanners for "entertainment" you can hear all sorts of descriptions based on race.
(although last nite, i heard the funniest thing about a chick in san jose who was about to be 5150'ed since she reported she knows about people buried in coffins, but arent really dead... i immediately started thinking zombies...)
but i digress.
some PDs use diff terminologies and abbreviations, which tend to confuse me sometimes...

I call that going to work; yes, it can be "entertainment" at times. As for descriptions based on race, yeah I know. For the reason I gave above. I know all about the antics that take place in the "bad" parts of town, not just the rumors and what's on the news. Most of the time the descriptions reaffirm racial stereotypes in context to the types of cimes commited. (ex BMA commit the most 211s) It's sad in its own way.
