I went a few times - but it was so long ago now i don't remember details. I would drive from Daly City. I eventually started a Daly City Krispy Kreme meet thread.

Ahhh, I failed to realize that was your old SN. Oops!
(And I can't argue with the noob designation since I joined 2 months after you ... So what happened in the eight year gap between bluperlrex and Giibo?)

I think I went to that Daly City in and out meet once or twice. I think there was a small bay area caravan. Maybe like 3 or 4 cars.

College...focus shifted from i-Club to booze and babes. I moved to San Diego for school and there wasn't a big suby following around me and I didn't seek it. Moved back in 06, sold the suby January 07, and lost touch with i-Club until I bought my wagon. Enter Giibo.

I went to one of those. And yeah... there was a caravan.

I wish I could see the stuff you guys are talking about but I can't. I'm pretty O.G. not as O.G. as some of you all but still... pretty o.g.

Remember when we had that little Bronco Billy's meet going on for a minute. LOL.

It really did feel like a fraternity or exclusive club back then. I got my WRX in June 2001! It was awesome to see other WRXs on the road because they weren't as common as they have become. What cult following happens nowadays? Nada. The clean bugeyes will definitely be a collector car in my book.

As time has passed, the RS has really aged well. I think the design is already classic/timeless.

Agreed. Got mine in May '01, and for the rest of that fateful year, I stopped and chatted with every single WRX I saw on the road (it's how I first found out about i-Club). Now the majority of Imprezas won't even wave.

Even worse than that... it seems more and more often I have one cut me off, ride my butt or do something else stupid and annoying...

I always look... I only wave if they're looking at me.

The last few STi's I've seen haven't even acknowledged that there is a Suby next to them.
