I'm stuck with this car for another two years...gotta make this transmission last somehow! How is the Saturn Vue holding up? Hope you don't miss your WRX too much.

How many miles did you guys put on the bad transmission before its worn out? I have an 02 with 60k, still running fine.

My 03 only had 42,000 miles before my tranny crapped out on me. Ofcourse I wasn't the first owner so who knows how the guy before me drove. I upgraded to RA gears, they're great!

yeah RA seems to hold better than the what we all got on the USDM first gen. But still less fragile like alex mentioned.

All my synchros were a bust before 20k. They were replaced and are grinding again in less time.

Seriously? You must be very rough on the shift...I got 90K miles on mine before 3rd gear synchro went and I was over 300 ft-lbs of torque on the gruppe-s dyno.
