it's not a real v70. just the body of top of a volvo 303 truck frame.

the real bad *** are the cool axles on those trucks.



i tried to acquire a couple for my truck, but when the importer was misquoted in a magazine article, i figured high the 4 figure price for the pair was better used for other stuff... but they were really sweet.

i figured that it was just a V70 shell over a full on offroad race chassis, so no surprises there. that rear axle setup looks awesome...too bad volvo doesn't sell stuff like that to the public.

 

Give me what your guys are smoking 600hp... hell a 1000hp volvo and i'd pass it down everytime for a 66 Lincoln Conti. it's still a f*cking volvo.

I'd have to get rid of the ghost flames and go with jet black and white wall tires. You'd be pimpin' BIG TIME. Plus the conti can fit about 6 dead bodies in the trunk and have enough hp to loose the cops.

im soooo torn between both cars you dont even know.



going to see if i can pick up a volvo for a few hundred and buy a buds motor off of him (herro 600hp). If i can secure that then it will be volvo with intentions on getting a cont in a year or so. (bud will hook it up with the motor for dirt cheap, im figuring about 3500 for motor and car)

 

I'd take the Volvo...the conti is a piece of nostalgia.....however even with 500+ HP....that thing rivals the weight/size of the Titanic, you dont park that car....you dock it! I think the volvo, would be more fun, being a smaller lighter car that can definitely handle the twisties (better than the conti)

That's exactly why it's PIMP. has anyone driven a "BOAT style" classic car before? I used to drive (not own personally) a old 72 torino and a 68 cutlass. You felt like you owned the road. A nice looking 66 lincoln with suicide doors and a 500hp engine. look out! run over people, throw them into the 5000sq ft trunk and cruise away.
