Would you be mad if...

While I was at school, i never really had space for my extra car parts, so some of my friends let me keep my stock struts, rear swaybar, stock dp, and stock wheels in their basement. I picked up my wheels about a year in, and the rest of the parts sat part of the next year.

Recently I decided to go back to a fixed perch setup so I called up one of the guys that lives at the house, one of my friends, so i can get all my stuff out of the way. When I call, I find out that they have thrown everything away in a dump day. They had mistaken my parts for one of their old roomates parts (a guy who had moved out already) and thought the parts were just junk.

Anyways, I know it sucks when friends do something nice for you and then everything gets screwed up/ thrown away. Has anyone had the "friend doing you a favor blow up in your face" situation, and if so, are you allowed to be mad? Ultimately im just over it since I shoulda kept better track of the stuff... but i do need some stock wagon struts! anyone? anyone$$?

You can't really get mad over a mistake... They were storing your stuff for free.... I mean, I'd be frustrated as hell, and I'd blame myself more than I blame them... But yeah, you can't get mad at them for that, especially after that long of a time.

You'd terminate a friendship over a silly mistake?

**** happens but you can't be too pissed about it. Simple mistake.

Shoot my old room mate let his damn car sit at my house so long we called a wrecker and had them pick it up. We just told him to come clean it out. Didn't give him an option. Otherwise it'd still be sitting there... blown motor.

It's your stuff, you're always responsible for that stuff, no matter what.

I had a bunch of customer leftover parts at the shop.
Posted up, "Come get your ****...cause I'm tossing it in 7 days."

Some responded, some didn't.
Can you guess what happened a few days after I tossed out the unclaimed parts?
