would anyone know how to uninstall something like this?
Im trying to do a trunk swap, but apparently the guy has a remote trunk popper. Here's the pic. Any idea how to take it off?

if the thing will pop with the outside key or the trunk release by the driver's seat, then i say just leave the popper but disconnect the wiring harness to the solenoid...
i cant see exactly how the solenoid is connected to the trunk release mechanism, but it should be rather simple, unless that thing was permanenetly connected with like a weld or a super glue...

Then it looks like you might have to drill the new trunk to install it.
good luck
