At work and not working...

This whole week since Monday I have been doing nothing but surfing the interweb, reading posts here and wishing I could afford all the crazy deals that Gruppe-S is churning out.

All told I've probably only done 1-2 hrs worth of work. And it's not that I don't want to do it...there really isn't much to do this week. It's a very slow week.

Eh, next week it's back to training more outsourced reps who don't have any idea on the products/companies they work for.

ok, rant off...maybe I'll fall asleep under my cube.

1-2hours!!!!!! WTF is wrong with you. Stop that!

Yeah the gruppe-s deals are nuts. I went there tuesday and was just planning on getting a protuner tune, and left with a VF34 If only it were making some decent power

that deal was too good to pass up. I look at the vf35 package 10x a day, waiting for someone to pick up the last one (is it gone yet?) just so I can tell myself to stop looking at it.

oh, and I just came back from lunch (the gym) and thought it was Friday. Much to my dismay it's still Thursday. D'OH!!!

It isn't normally this slow. It's peaks and valleys. This just happens to be a really deep valley this week.

But this does allow me to scan monster.com and other job sites. I think my time here is just about done.

Speaking of the DMV, this Filipino dude has been working at the DC branch since I got my license. I was 16 then, 27 now!!! That place is a time warp...complete disruption in the space-time continuum.

ryan, even though the gruppe-s packages are dirt cheap for new stuff, i think you should scour the used classifieds for vf30 and modded injectors. ive been seeing prices ~$400 for the vf30 and ~$200 for injectors. now thats cheap. a fuel pump isnt much either. you already have an AP, you could be custom tuned with a new turbo for about ~$1000. pretty freakin good deal.

of course, i could look for all that stuff for you and then sell it to you with finders fee haha. but i know you have all this time on your hands this week!

LOL! You do seem to find all the good stuff...

I've been looking at the used vf30's also. Along with the supporting mods it would be a good deal. I'm just going to get my stage 2 protuned for now. Needs to save my money for Brazil (leaving in 2 weeks!!!), then Baltimore for Labor Day, and possibly back to the Phillippines in Dec.

at least tomorrow is Friday...
