What's weird is that they're going to show 1 hour for each event. The Euro coverage is 2 hours (1/2 hr. preview plus 1/2 hr. for each day of the race). I'm guessing this means they'll be all chopped up and re-edited. As I said before, even the euro coverage isn't in HD so this should be interesting. Either way, I'm excited. Not so much for this year's WRC, but for next year's when they'll hopefully have HD cameras filming the entire thing.

HELLS YEAH!!! Looking forward to this so much, finally someone is picking up where Speed has left us. I can watch racing now and not shows about tow truck drivers, auto-theft cops, and high schools students in America who have to be sub-titled when they speak (drag race high).
HD theater will even show Isle of Manx, the craziest race in the world.

It is looking like HD theater is the new source of high def car pr0n. Last Saturday I watched coverage of vintage race on their GT Racer series which was absolutely amazing. Between that and WRC I'm pretty stoked.
it was a male and female combo. never saw their faces.
but the male always pronounces it "im-PRET-sa"...

no, early on... say 2001 or so, when i started watching SPEED's coverage, they would just just the UK's commentators, instead of using an american dude like 2-3 years later.
