I didn't even bother bringing it up. We have a 2 year old and a golden retriever. This car is not for me... unfortunately. I'd love one. I keep seeing them all fixed up from sema and I just go... man those are nice looking cars. Ug!

funny line and then the wife bashing in the windshield, LOL

when I bought the STi I didn't tell my wife, I just told her that I bought a car and then picked her up for lunch. she wasn't and still isn't fond of my brakes sound when cold but she likes the car and insists on us using it to go places where the roads are twisty.

Exactly. I was going to say something similar.
If you are smart you will get with someone who has similar interests or into cars and would be on board with the new car purchase. GL!

yeah it probably will, but its not my opinion right now haha. I wouldnt take the car back, thats for damn sure. If shes willing to leave me over a purchase I made with my hard earned money when I already spoil the sh*t out of her.. its a lost cause haha

Unless it's a drop in the bucket financially, buying a new car without telling a spouse is really stupid (homer simpson/peter griffin caliber stupid!) I would be pissed if my wife came home with a new car without discussing it with me.

My girlfriend was pissed I got that back hatch for free. She said "really how much did you spend on that? You are an idiot." Shook her head and went inside.

My girlfriend was pissed I got some stock STI pistons for paper weights in trade for some beer. She said "Well those look expensive, you are an idiot."

My girlfriend gets pissed when I look at wheels for sale on duh i-crub "What the hell do you need ANOTHER set of wheels for, you have like 4 sets!"

meh

Also- what subie OCD said +1

I dont think I would be, its her money, let her do what she wants, if she bought the car, she obviously wanted it. I will never do joint accounts, I've seen my parents go through some issues because of that
