Wiper Blades
Fall is right around the corner and the rainy season (if Farmers is any clue) is going to be a wet one this year; time to replace those OEM blades with something beefier!
I posted this in Bay Area Forum as I would like opinions from those in the area who have more inclusive experience.
My question is: honestly, what the best blades?
I have heard Bosch, PIAA, Rain-X Latitude, and a few other misc brands being tossed out, but opinions have varied from great to terrible and from dry climates to extremely rainy/snowy.
That being said and price not being too much of an option (trying to keep it below $50) what are the longest lasting and best quality blades for living in Northern California?

I have been using the PIAA blades for the past couple of years. They are silicone impregnated. You are supposed to run them dry on your windshield for like 10 minutes or so and they deposit a layer on the windshield that beads water like an application of Rain-x but lasts longer. Have run them in snow/ice etc. and they did pretty well, too.
I got a set of Piaa last year around this time. Having run soooo many different wiper blades for different cars from here to Colorado over the years, I like these the best. I hope they are as durable as they've been reported. But so far I like them in the rain, like them for snow, like them for slush. They are really good and worth the money imo.

Seems that the PIAA Super Silicone blades are the most popular.
I found this website that sells them: http://www.ltbmotorsports.com/
1 22'' blade and 1 18'' blade + S&H = $42.88
Sounds reasonable- are they're any I-Club favorite vendors that I should look into rather than a random company for blades?

I will be testing the Bosch Icon Wiper blades I got at the end of last season. Right when I got them, it stopped raining so I put my summer blades back on.
I will also try out the PPG Aquapel that I got. Supposed to be better and last longer than Rain-X.
