Hmmm, have you thought about removing them and re-doing it with stickers that are about 80% smaller? Like someone mentioned previously, I think that would make it look a lot nicer and way less noticeable.

I tried using the smallest circles possible and the only thing with that is the vinyl is pretty thin and it concaves into the hole. if you could get some pretty thick vinyl it might work but then you would be able to see the thickness of the vinyl from pretty far away

double them up, thats what I did, them use a razor to trim them down so they are only about an 1/8" larger the holes.

I agree 1 inch is definitely too big. Dots the size of a nickel should be perfect. I'm going to redo mine with smaller ones.

As for the rain, it works great, I washed my car right after I put it on.

Package launcher FTW.

Vinyl will last for years if it's not abused, but double it up and seal it from the inside as well. I'd figure out a way to fill the hole flush (hell, use scrap vinyl, paper, etc) and sandwich it on both sides - that will avoid your dark spots and depressions and make it less likely to punch through. Vinyl on a solid surface will last because you don't notice it getting brittle, but any voids will get brittle after a year or so.

I just bought a second trunk and got it colormatched because I didn't like having all the holes, even covered. Now, my dad's workshop has 50 extra HP from the stock trunk/wing hanging on the wall...heh.

I guess I could sell sheets of white and black, and people that need to color match could paint the white ones to match their car.

that might not be a bad idea.

I do the same thing.

I'm seriously considering getting that Voltex wing delete; I'm not too keen on having 15+ little circle stickers on my trunk.
