I'm located in the East Bay and I was wondering where you guys got your tints done and what was your experience with the shop? Looking to get a 20% tint all around and was wondering if you knew any places. Let me know; thanks!

 

A lot of people are probably going to recommend Vince at Omega Tintwerks in Pleasanton.

I had mine done at BestImage San Mateo, 2 year no problem.

 

Are most of you guys getting ceramic tint or metallic?

 

I'm gonna get 20% all around ceramic.

 

Vince only has ceramic now. Metallic is old school. Ceramic is thicker, better, and doesn't mess with anything electrical.

 

+1 for vince at omega. His price probably isn't going to be the cheapest but he does damn good work. I've had 2 cars done by him and would definitely go back. I don't know if he still gives i-club discounts but you can ask him when you call to make an appointment.

 

I have metallic because I'm a cheap bastard.

That's probably why his prices went up a bit. I remember the ceramic tint being a bit more expensive than metallic.
