Fry's had the refurbed netgear M521 for $9.95 each last week on the bottom shelf hidden in brown boxes. Keep an eye out for those brown boxes!

Yep. Using it as I type this reply. Its CardBus (32bit), not PCMCIA (16Bit), so you'll need a 32bit version of windows. Same formfactor, and if you have an OS and hardware that's not older than a few years, you're fine.

I havent figured out which linux driver yet, but it seems like a wavelan card. It might be my lack of knowledge of using CardBus over PCMCIA w/ linux.


At any rate, the card works great.
