Damn man sorry to hear about your car. Why do people do this to other's cars? It's stupid and doesn't solve anything. If I was that angry with someone I would go up to them and hit them a couple times, not **** with their car. Thats wack. If you find out who did it and they are under 6'0" 145lbs give me their address and I'll try my best to pommel them.

Thanks to everyone....

I appreciate all of your kind words.
Too tired now to explain all of the details, but in a nut shell: The people who did it were angry with someone traveling with me. Their anger was not even legitamate. They were drunk and stooopid.
My friend is going to pay my deductable for me.
I was doing work for my friend when this happened. As my car will have to be completely repainted, maybe they can do a better job than Subaru did with the paint.

Thanks again,
Peace

Damn Kevin, that sucks really bad. Glad you friend is covering your deductible but that still sucks. I hope you find out who did it and press charges on him. Either that or just kick his ***.

If you really know who did that, I would let the insurance company know and see what they'll do. You can't let people who did this walk away.

Moving Forward....

Got my buddy from the Fairfax Police to come by today and lift some prints from my car. Hopefully they are the culprits prints, and not mine or a friends. He told me that had I not been his friend, they would not have helped me.

I called the San Anselmo Police first, but they didn't want to help. I am finding that you have to know the police to get help these days. For anyone who read my other post last week about Novato Cops sucking know what I've been through.
In regards to that situation, I am going back to Novato and speaking with the chief regarding how the officer treated me.

I'd really like to hear of some hurt going to the persons responsible. Judicial or otherwise... Sugar and keying is a low down cowardly act. Fingers crossed for you that the police can pull a name out of those prints.

unfortunately, the police considers these crimes low on the totem pole.

when someone took my badges, i waited all nite for the cops to come. i eventually called. the cop was supposed to call the NEXT DAY to take my report.

you cant really blame them. this was a NON violent crime (well if i caught the little bastards, i woulda been diff). with other VIOLENT crimes out there, i can understand.

one thing, did this parking lot have any cameras so you can find the a-holes that did this? you may wanna ask around if any of the business do.

remember that child abduction a few months ago in san jose? they got great proof because a neighbor had survellance gear running in their street. just a thought...

and yes, that BAIC pool o' money would be a great thing to start around here... just for crap situations like this...
