This is why I hate holiday weekends

Damn drunk drivers weaving like no other. Freaked my gf out as we were driving back from a bbq at a friend's house. He almost hit a few semis, few cars, and almost went off the freeway shoulder.

Be careful out there cuz there's gonna be the ***gots all over the place. Also, I'm gonna put the CHP's # in my cell phone so I can report the jerks. I wouldn't be so pissed if he could atleast stay in his lane, but damn he was seriously weaving between 2 lanes and the shoulder down 580 near Santa Rita.

Watch out if you see some beat up POS looking El Camino.

PS: When you dial 911 on your cell phone, it automatically goes to the CHP.

What he said... there are a bunch of digital signs in the BA that are currently displaying "Report a Drunk Driver - Dial 911".

Really? Since I just don't want to use emergency lines if there's any other number I can call. Good to know, next time I'll definately do that.

Neither is strictly true. It depends on your provider as well as your location. On VZW, for example, if you dial 911 outside of a major city, you will indeed get routed to CHP (who I waited ON HOLD FOR 18 minutes last week!). However, in SF, I was routed directly to SF 911 Dispatch.

Other providers you work slower on E911 may have different behaviors.

as for the 911 deal. It's all about where you are when you call.
