Do you have any idea why these two guys were after you? Did they have a reason or were they just completely out of their minds? I think you did the right thing though, except not looking over. I would definately have looked, to A: get an idea of what I was up against and B: get a good description for the cops.
Hey forget about a CCW,...to hard for the average citizen to get in Ca. I tell all my friends, pack'em if you got'em. I don't think I would have raced off though, if you were to get into an injury accident then chances are it would have been written up as a "street racing" event. Of course the thugs arn't going to tell the cops they were trying to kill you, just racing and they're going to say that you egged them on. Perhaps you should get that CCW back...if you truely thought your life was in danger...who's to say you'll never be in a situation like that again,...next time you might not be so lucky.

Oh and make sure you have witnesses,...without em its your story against the bad guys story...
