What was it's original purpose? Something to do with farmers getting more daylight to work the fields, correct? Um, like welcome to the new millenium. Can we join Hawaii and (is it Arizona?) and stop changing our frickin clocks already? And while we're at it can someone take a look at that annoying leap year shmit too?

If there was no leap year the planets would collide, causing you to be late for work.

Hehe, most folks from Hawai'i that are here during the longest days of summer get freaked because the sun doesn't set 'til 9:45pm or so
And when I'm in Hawai'i, I always get woken up by the sun rising at like 4:45am
