Why can't people be on time?
I'm in a training course for work this week and this one guy shows up EVERY day almost a half hour late. I don't get it - being on time is NOT that difficult.

People are mostly morons. They're easy to understand if you just accept that fact.
My boss is late to EVERYTHING. So much that everyone that we know plans for 45-60 minutes after she claims the meeting will start.

Does anybody here set their watches and clocks a few minutes later than the actual time as a way of compensating for being habitually late? I don't see how it would help...
I also know someone that never changes the time setting during Daylight Savings Time, so for several months out of the year the clocks are one hour off. This includes alarm clocks!

Heheh, back when I started working I set my clock here above my monitor half an hour ahead, haven't gotten around to changing it to the correct time. The clock by my bed is nearly an hour ahead, 'cause my mornings usually consist of me slamming the snooze button about 3-4 times. When I finally open my eyes and look at the clock my first impulse is to wake up, because "oh ****, I'm gonna be....oh wait"
The clock on my wall above the computer never gets touched, so it's off by an hour a few months out of the year too
