Haha. The crappy thing is sitting here in a cold data center and working every freaking holiday but then again, I could be unemployed.

Geeze, am I the only person that is semi-content with working graveyard?

Granted I just sit at a desk with a dual monitor computer. Internet on one screen, half email, half video on the other screen. And it is pretty quiet during the this shift. Only takes me about an hour to complete my regular tasks.

I'm here today. No holiday, just a normal workday. At least I get to leave an hour earlier

I work tomorrow covering the holiday shift 10am-9pm though.

At work now. Shift, 7:30-4. No traffic so I got here way early. Oh well. I have all next week off to go to Wisconsin and visit the inlaws.

Don't get me wrong, its not all bad. Since I go to school full-time, this is the only shift that I could work full-time without worrying about getting classes.

I sit behind 2-22" monitors + my 15" macbook pro for surfing the web/watching videos (not 100% if they monitor us on our desktops so I just hookup my laptop). Its usually slow but, escalating issues during my shift (at least when calling programmers) can be a PITA since they b**** about being called even though thats the escalation process.

Been working grave for over a year now and I'm slowly getting sick of it (but its more because of working tues-sat, I want sat and sunday off).
