I need a clutch kit for a MKIV GTI Vr6 on the cheap. My car is stuck in Orinda with a toasted clutch. Also need a flywheel, but I think I'm just going to get a Autotech 10lb flywheel since they run about 225.

Any thoughts?

Well, some of the tech's at my shop are going to come in on Saturday and fix it for lucnh and beer. If you think you can beat that, let me know. In the mean time, I still need parts.

 

what year is your GTI? Do you want Oe replacement, or performance?

It's a 99 New body style GTI with a VR6 and a five-speed. I'm looking for cheap, so OE. This is not a performance machine, just my daily driver.
