Smile Who's going to keep wrx for life?

I'm just wondering how many of us going to keep our wrx for life. Perhaps, until the wrx becomes old school, rust away, blow up, you give it to your future child, or whatever. Is this car worthy to keep? Just wondering...

Hell, I'm keeping mine 'til it craps out. It's a great daily driver, plus I doubt I'll get anything remotely decent in terms of resale value

^^^I think I'll do the same. Yeah, it is a good daily driver. Not only that, this car is far easiest car to maintain IMO.

Sometimes I wonder, if I ever get a Porsche, if I'll be driving it one day and I think to myself, "damn, this is a nice car, but it sure ain't a REX."

Thumbs up

I am. My plans are to pass it on to my (now 7 year old) daugther when she's 16. Then we can share it for autocross and I hopefuly will have a new TOY by then.

I'll probably be keeping mine for a loong while. Or until the wheels fall off! Sheit, for what I can afford this really is the most bang for the buck. Relatively small (perfect for living in SF or any major city), quick (those bursts of speed do come in handy sometimes) and you just gotta luv those bugeyes! For the price, you can't really get a better package. Even though I can't afford to mod mine out like those that I've seen, I really do have fun with what I've got. Oh, and I just have a few years before this one is paid off. Knowing that I won't have car payments FOREVER is a good feeling. Of course, if I won the lottery tomorrow...

if I won the lottery tomorrow, i would still keep my WRX and drop in an STi swap w/bigger turbo. i love the way the bugeye looks; if Subaru had released a bugeye STi impreza, i would have been all over that. i did not like the the 04+ revision....

Nope. My WRX is probably a 4-5 year car for me (3 years of loan + 1-2 more years). By that time, I'll need another project.

That sounds like a plan.

I like bugeyes as well. Very unique.

Since I sold mine I guess the answer is no. But I have owned 3 Imprezas. I will probably always have a Subaru. If not, I'll definitely always have AWD.

I'm keeping mine for a while. Atleast until the end of college (2-3 years) and then we'll see what kind of job I get.
