the post count #'s in question were not about whoring in the baic forum. they were in an alternate forum. the particular thread in question looked like it was being used specificly for the purpose of increasing post count #'s to aquire an avitar. a thread of 6500+ posts of things like hi, work sux, im bored and such that is over 160 pages long when you are viewing 40 posts per page is not a social thing in my book. im not saying what was done was right at all, and i dont agree with it, but for those of you who want to form you own opnion here is what provoked this.

I saw that one...thats what I thought of first when I saw the counts zapped.
BUT....i think counts do matter especially if you are trying to sell something. People look at your post counts and ratings. So, I think they do help out a bit. Now, if you are abusing the forums like in the link above...well, you play you pay.

Ok, like I told Ryan yesterday, I will restore your guys' post count, so just tell me what it was.
However, "chat-like" threads in inactive forum for a sole purpose of racking up the post count # is not good. Why? Because if people see that it is allowed, this board will just turn into post ***** zoo. I don't want that.
I am all for socializing. But do it in a way that will not turn this place upside down.
