He makes too much since to to nominated as Republican runner, hes not out earning too much and paying too little or stiffing the minorities and helping the rich.

Crazy *** video though, as a democrat I'd vote for him.

I highly recommend this bit of light reading. It is George Washington's farewell address. You get an idea of how smart this man really was and a true visionary.

so...he predicts that arabs and muslims won't get along, the u.s. would go into iraq...again, people will die in that war, a new government in afghanistan would be unstable, the patriot act will still be bad, the deficit will continue to grow, and the economy will tank.

maybe it's just me but those predictions aren't exactly nostradomus-like. the economy tanking is probably his most "incisive" prediction, but economists are always split 50/50 on this issue and if you stick with your prediction long enough (10 years or so) either side will be right because the economy has up and down cycles.

I think you are missing the real point of the video - Paul is predicting that Federal policies and legislation would help set all of the things he mentioned into motion. And they did.

Our politicians and the public at large believe that the best solution to most of mankind's problems is to look toward the government. This almost always resulted in 3 things - the original problem is never solved, additional negative unintended consequences arise, and taxpayer money is wasted.

Examples?

-Johnson's War on Poverty
-Vietnam
-Public education
-Increasing homeownership (aka The Housing Crisis, aka Barney Frank's Eternal Legacy)
-Bailing out Banks Too Big to Fail
-the clandestine Afghanistan war (CIA + Mujahideen vs Russia)
-the war on drugs
-Affirmative Action
-The Patriot Act
-Social Security
-California's Redevelopment Agencies
-Sarbanes/Oxley
-SOPA

The list is ENDLESS. Paul is absolutely right. It is a real uphill battle for him to win the Presidency but I'm not worried about that. I'm just glad he is getting his message out there. Ideas are a powerful thing.

Well, we're getting our resources from somewhere, so it sounds like you're taking a NIMBY attitude.
Humans are consumers, we need to use resources. Using our local resources is better for the environment.

The GOP and Mr. Paul were quite upset recently about some new EPA regulations... regulations that say that spraying mercury into the air is bad. Mercury is a known poison. It should go without saying that we don't aerosolize it and spray it around our citizens. Unfortunately, we have to make laws like this since we can't trust corporations not to do it.

Using our own local resources isn't the same as ****ting all over them.

Interesting... I don't know how credit-worthy the video is, but sure seems to be well-edited. Such an elaborate prediction, and it seems many of such events have occurred
