Who is your web host?
Who do you use to host your web services (not the site that comes with say an SBC or Earthlink subscription but your own domain name), how much space do you have, what protocols do they support and what are you paying?

I use cedant.com. Fast and responsive.
Solaris, Apache, support cgi, php, java, ftp, ssh...
SSH is secure; but ftp is not. They display your
ftp password in the non-secure admin console.
That makes everything even less secure.
