I see more people leaving at&t because of the service rather than going to it because of the iphone, but i will give apple props for coming up with a competitively priced consumer product.

If the iphone ever gets developed on verizon it'll be over for at&t. Randall Stephenson better get ready to do some major Steve Jobs *** kissing when 2012 rolls around.

I'm getting one....but it's actually going to be a gift to the GF.

I'm waiting for it to be available with 4G, whether it's on AT&T or Verizon.

T-Mobile is rumored to be the next carrier for the iphone, possibly end of this year or early next year.

sorry, its not 720p as the original post says. it might be able to play a 720p video, but its going to be cropping or downsizing it (which takes processing power).

720p = 1280x720 = 921600 pixels
iphone4 = 960x640 = 614400 pixels

thats 2/3rds the size of 720p which sounds like apples typical false advertising.
