Looking at the rs25 thread about him, I think I know who it is from Garage Tuning. He's a stand up guy, left because he didn't like how GT started cutting corners, and is now one of the main engine builders/techs at Irvine Subaru. So don't let the fact that GT has gone down hill stop you from working with this guy

yep Keenerd did use to work at GT before going solo.

He does awesome work, he did the wiring on my car back in 07, merged my RS wiring harness to an 06 STI engine, passed smog no MIL good to go while he was working at GT

Ya that is what I heard. I have personally never had an issue with GT, but I don't really like the owner's attitude :| Always heard good stuff about dudes wiring work tho., and all my conversations with hive have been great.

I have nothing but good words about Kevin because he's my friend I've known through the years, my opinion will be biased and will always come to his defense.

I am aware of a lot of people not being happy with service at GT but none of that should take any rep away from Keeners. He's a godsend to those who do engine swaps into their GC conversions. He stands behind his work and it is flawless. As stated before, my engine swap was handled at GT, wiring was done by Keeners, when my car was finished, I picked it up, went straight to the referee and now my car is CARB approved and I have no issues when I smog my car.
