Who went to the SF auto show today?
i AM going to it. i havent read anything on it, is subaru going to be represented? i really wanna sit in an STi and maybe, if i have time, steal the gearbox or turbo

I saw the TV special on channel 7 - looks pretty similar to last year's show to me. I dunno, I dun wanna pay to see mostly the same stuff

The SF auto show was pretty pathetic from what we want. The Subaru booth, had the same displays from last year, including the WRC car that had "Burns" on the window. I spoke w/ the rep there and we basically got screwed. Apparently we're not important enough to get the STI. The new STI will be shown at LA in January.

In response to a question regarding the likelihood of the 6 speed trany making it states side, the joker at the suby booth responded " ya, I think it does have paddle shifters"!? It is a sad state when the representatives for SOA are so out of touch with the very product line they are supporting...
