Who wants to install some parts for me?

I need rear sways, brace, endlinks, and catback installed on my 2013 hatch. I've been shopping around for shops and the prices are decent. I actually have an appointment with Speedelement on Monday, but get impatient when it comes to new goodies and I just wanted to see if anyone could do this locally for some side money. I have space in my garage where you can work in or I can come to you. Just pm me your price!

Thanks and happy holidays!

If you have the space, do it yourself. Those are easy.

Yeah, super easy. Definitely get yourself a wrench and do them yourself. There's enough online how-to's that you should be fine even if you've never done them before.

Alright, you guys convinced me.

One more question, I was reading around, but wanted to make sure. Is it okay to use the stock donut gasket to mate up the stock dp with the q300? I know some people have been using a flat gasket when using an aftermarket dp.

if you have a appointment I hope you give them a heads up you won't be making it so they don't just sit there waiting for you.

^That. Nothing irk's a shop more than someone booking and then either going elsewhere or farming out the work. There may be a day that you need that shop and have to go in and face them in person.

I agree that that is a good first garage project. Invest the money you would spend on labor getting some hand tools, two Jack stands and a Jack. If you made an appointment at a shop definitely let them know ASAP you are going to do the work yourself so they can fill your slot.

If you want to feed me beers I can come tell you how you are doing everything wrong

As long as the flanges match up correctly to where you can bolt them together without any gaps, and the size in diameter allows it to fit then yes. It'll be pretty apparent though once you meet up the two. Obviously if the donut gasket creates a gap, then you probably would have to remove it and use a flat gasket. I had a different scenario though where I had my stock midpipe connected to my Megan downpipe and I used the stock donut gasket.

Thanks for the responses. Yeah, I ended up calling speedelement and canceling my appt. The parts are on, except for the endlinks, thanks to Jamison. Typically I'd do this stuff myself, but due to past bad experiences and lack of tools, I decided to let the pros do the work.

Glad I could help. When you pick up the rest of the end link pieces feel free to hit me up. I'll throw em on for you.
