The ad indicated "moving/merger" as the reason for the sale, so they are probably relocating to a less expensive site and continuing the retail portion, since that's most likely the most profitable portion of the business.

YMMV, since I have *no* knowledge of the internal workings of Gruppe-S.

he was talking about an SBA loan

$99K is a rip off anyways, its like buying yourself a lease and some used equipment

You can get a lease anywhere and you can also find used equipment for sale

Zoey, what do you think it would cost to find a place, setup the lease, setup a LLC, buy into a couple of wholesale dealers, hire a couple people, setup a phone system, website, etc.

think it'd be more than 99k?

doesn't matter what its gonna cost you for all that stuff....with that $99K they are asking you are also buying a lease...they arent gonna give you the equipment without taking over the lease.

$5K a month is a big commitment

Someone who is starting a new business doesn't need a 7K sq ft facility...

exactly, that's why I'm saying, wouldn't it only take around 40-50k to start something like that? You'd already be in a smaller place, you'd have your own accounts with companies, not the accounts that someone else has already used, you'd be able to make sure the LLC was setup correctly, etc.

definately not that great of a business venture...
