I had a 486 with the turbo button. I remembered how stoked I was to install a freakin' CD-rom drive (purchased as a Creative multimedia kit from Fry's which came with a couple games and speakers). The first game I ever got for it was Mortal Kombat 3 for PC. Unfortunately it wouldn't run correctly because my computer was just slightly too slow for it. My friend's computer who had 33mhz more (66mhz!) could run it just fine.
I think I wrecked my old car's stereo deck with CDRs when I got my first CD burner in 1999. That's all I fed the deck. Haha.

packard bell 486 DX2/66 running windows 95.. That thing had so many driver issues but it did have some sweet side mounted speakers on the monitor and a decent 28.8 phone modem with built in speaker phone capabilities. Played Duke Nukem no prob.
