The only problem with that road, is that the people living on the top are REALLY particular about their tofu....

Here's some Initial D mixed in for you to try...

BTW, it IS the Hopland Grade, just east of the summit...

The video is one I shot going westbound.

BTW, Mr. Hox, your deduction about this being the rumor of an upcoming meet we talked about is correct. The video is shot for a different event which is upcoming sooner than that, but it's also shot without crossing the double yellow, AND no brakes during the entire run up that hill.

I was thinking "Get Me Power"...but I really didn't need any more power, or I would have been on the brakes.

I would love to be there Mr. Hox, but I am registered for the Nevada Open Road Challenge the weekend of the 19th.

We need to set up a meet in say Cloverdale and rally over 175 for burgers and dogs at Carini Speed someday

Funny to see people playing in my backyard, thanks Roo - great vid dood

Good? Maybe. Different? Definitely. Most people drive to get from A to B, they drive their car. I drive for what lies between A and B, and I drive with my car. It's the whole philosophy thing. Everyone is a "good" driver in their own mind (well, not everyone, but you know what I mean)

That would be so open to different interpretations, I believe that this is some sort of a trick question.

Define "Good Driver".

1. According to insurance companies, you're a "good driver" if you have no claims on your policy, and you have no moving violations.
2. According to the police, you're a "good driver" if you follow all traffic laws.
3. According to Initial D fans, you're a "good driver" if you can imitate Tak on the road that video was taken on.
4. According to NASA HPD instructors, you're a "good driver" if you can follow the racing line, safely drive fast around the track, and not crash into anything/anyone.
5. According to Pro Rally drivers, you're a "good driver" if you are able to consistently win rallies without rolling your vehicle...

I could go on forever with these comparisons...

Personally, I believe that I'm a rather good driver. I'm not the fastest (by far), but am reasonably safe while having a good time on the back roads. I stay on my side of the road at all times (notice in the video), I didn't use my brakes ONCE in that entire video...which is easy on the uphill if you know how to position your car for each turn...

To each their own definition applies, however. I'd like to see why you think YOU are such a "good driver". I notice you drive a "crashed"...is your car at Gilman Collision, perchance? I just did a huge order for someone who crashed their STi...
