Who has that Asian Glow (alcohol related)

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090323/...cohol_flushing

Turn a bit red when you drink a mere half bottle of beer? If you're of East Asian descent, consider that a warning: You may be at higher risk of alcohol-caused esophageal cancer. Researchers reported the link Monday in hopes of increasing awareness that the inherited flushing trait — found in about a third of people from Japan, China and Korea — offers valuable health information.
Luckily I inherited my dad's alcoholistic Liver and I don't turn red when I drink and in addition I stopped drinking a month ago =P.

I get it too and pretty bad. I haven't tried pepcid ac. I always carry eye drop with me and if I know I'll be drinking at an event like a dinner party, wedding, etc. I'll drink before the event and get the severe flushing out of the way. Plus, it's another excuse to have a drink.

Try putting some eye drops in your drink. I heard that cures the Asian flush.

got the glow and have read this article before. personally i'm not going to worry about this at all. what's the point of living if being scared of getting the big C inhibits your life?

pepcid ac works for me.. i still glow but only around the eyes rather than bloodshot red where people think i'm about to die from alc poisoning.
