Car Info: '88 Mazda 323GTX AWD T,'00 Subaru OUTBACKsport 2.2L=i got 16th of 88 at Altamont RallyX=w/MomsCarLOL
MAN that was a sad course! but it was fun of course
2 1/2 slaloms=boring, only two radius turns, one big radius on the outside that is choked by a chicane in the middle, and no 45 deg linking turns. mostly all 90 deg stuff.
dont get me wrong, i had a blast, but if their excuse is "easy setup" because of those yellow tie downs for the airplanes, im gonna get bored.
here are my times:
71.339
64.084
62.918
62.629
62.218
62.101
(out of order)
i was in the red GTX with the foot of suspension LOL. the first lap ive been so used to dirt and rain, expecting to rotate as i trail brake...(front tires lock up...understeer into outside cones) haha, i got used to it. my car needs some desperate mods.
i just picked up some KYB GAB Rally struts. the insert of the shock is about as big in diameter as a quarter some im excited.
i saw:
white STI 05 with white 10 spokes
blue WRX wagon black rotas
blue 06 sti
a black civic in which the combo of driver/car made me want to puke haha
cant wait til next month! HIGHLY RECOMENDED

I was there Saturday, I was the only wagon, hehe.
My times were as follows:
1st: 65.4x
2nd: 65.7x
3rd: 63.4x
4th: 62.49
My tires were under inflated and had mad body roll and my struts are totally dead.
My usdm STi Pink springs and KYB AGX struts will ship today(thank you CVR Motorsports and the hated Jamie Thomas!) so next auto-x I do should be a lot more fun.
I had a great time! met some cool people.
The only lame part was the dorifto kids ****ing around on the radios and taking for ever to setup knocked cones when it was their turn to work the track.

I think this was 3rd best time of the weekend, I read on baautox.com that someone ran a 53.xx. :O

scca > nasa , that's true. but for $30 and getting 4 runs + fun runs, which is great and just as fun. Well, I take it back. It was more fun because 4 runs on a 50+ second course > 3 runs on a 40 second course.
