Im looking for a vendor in the santa clara or san jose area that can sell me a simple cut of vinyl, not printed, i just need 2 separate different colored pieces of colored vinyl. anyone know of a place?

fastsigns sucks...theyll give me regular vinyl, but their stores minimum charge is 85 bux. i said "that doesnt seem worth it for a peice of a sticker" he said, "im not gonna say its not worth it, thats for your to decide..."
****in guy, like hes gonna sell me a 85 dollar peice of plastic tape one foot long....
any local stores or specialists that just have a cutting machine and a lot of vinyl material? i just need a SMALL peice.

Huh? That's BS. I used to buy $10 sections from the one in Santa Rosa all the time. I'd suggest calling another branch.

 

I was going to say- that seems outrageous, I know some sign shops are busy enough that they'll impose silly minimum order amounts like that, I've seen and walked away from a shop where their min was $45- check into any of their competition.

If you want high quality stuff and installation, go to OD signs in hayward. They made my GC look like a WRC car.

 

yea...i just dont know who a good "competitor" is. back in hawaii theres lots of shops where you just go in and its a guy and the vinyl cutter and a computer basically. ask for some vinyl sticker material and hed give it to you. even gave me die cuts for free. where are those guys at?

i just need two cuts of vinyl:
one 3x8 inch piece of green (think takata or tein green, something around that shade) and one 1x8 inch piece of white vinyl. if you can hook that up id pay to have it cut and sent to me since my car is taken apart right now.

 

This is now the second place I've heard good things about OD signs. However, every time I call I get a receptionist that never seems to pass my messages to the vinyl workers. Who do I call to get a quote?
