Who did I run back from the picnic with?

Who was that guy from Fremont in the WRX with the HKS exhaust and the stock suspension?

We were FLYING off of that hill.

My ABS malfunctioned and nearly put me into the side of the mountain. Anybody know how to fix the ABS so it doesn't work anymore and I don't get the ABS light? Nearly ruined my car over that crap.

How did you like my highway run at the end. That is where my car really excells!

Anyway, who were you?

Andy

Well there is that ABS fuse switch mod, but the ABS light stays on when you have it disabled...

That was me Yea that was pretty fun coming down. I have a whiteline sway bar and cusco front and rear strut bars but the rest of the suspension is stock and still on those crapyy re92's. On the freeway your car is fast, when you flew by me it was crazy. What part of fremont do you live in, i live down near mission san jose highschool. Maybe some time after a uckk meet we can get a bunch of people to hamilton and run, that would be fun.

That would be fun. I found out today that my car is definately not ideal for tight slow courses! Your low end setup was right there the whole time, and then when I ran off the course, you had me!

I did like the way my car was handling though. I could step out the rear, and was in total control. That road was a little choppy in places, but I just went by my old motto, "When it doubt, throttle out!" On some of those straights right after we left the park, it was so rough that I felt the car come off the road a couple of times. I just mash it and hope for the best in those situations.

I was suprised that you could hang to close with those RE-92's. Those things are like so $hitty.

What fun. I am just a little freaked out still about when my brakes went wierd. I did not think that I was going to stop! I thought I was going up that hill into that wooden fence. Something happened where the ABS wheel stop threshold was sensing the wheel stopped, when I was really moving at about 20 MPH, so instead of "Lock, off, lock, off, lock, off" ABS routine shudder, it was going "20MPH, off, 20MPH, off, 20MPH off". I really thought that I was going to eat that fence.

I noticed that you were using alot more of the road than I was. I was trying to stay in my lane. I kept looking up, and you were all over the road! I did not have that luxory leading. I didn't want to eat an oncomming car.

All in all, that was really fun. My car hasn't been driven like that before. I was taxing it pretty good.

Nice driving.

Ya, the BADWRX is a HIGHWAY MONSTER! Very fast up on top. As you witnessed.

Laters, lets hookup sometime.

Oh, I live at the east end of Thornton (Where it ends). Our HOA borders Alameda Creek, and is walking distance to Quarry Lakes.

Becuase of driving like that 2 CHP cars were sent to bust the meet. The ranger threatened that they would call CHP and they did. We saw them driving up when we were leaving.

We didn't drive like that anywhere around the meet. We were far away from the park. When I was on and around the park, I was PUTTING... 5mph+/- Just FYI.

actually the CHP came because of multiple calls about people driving fast down the road. Not stuff in the park.

I'm not sure when the driving in question happened, but it's possible it was you guys. I dunno.

Still, we need to keep fast runs to a minimum.

sry about that. I blame the re92's because those tires are loud no matter what speed you take a turn they always screech. Or it could have been our exhaust backfireing after every straight.
