Who Auto-X?

I'm looking into getting some suspension for my car and am looking for a good rate for auto-x and daily driving. I'm thinking of something around 6/5.5 or 6/5. What do you think of this rate and what are you running? TIA

Not sure about the other auto-x'ers here but I'm running on Eibachs and stock shocks/struts. That's it. It does it's job at the track.
I'm sure the others have better set-ups and give you more advice.

It's not about the spring rates... It's about the valving on the strut to match whatever spring rates you have.

What kind of coil overs were you looking at?

Well, I'm going w/ Ground Controls and Koni Yellows. So I don't think the valving on the struts will have any problem with that type of spring rate. And since w/ GCs you can get custom rates I'm thinking of those.

I rode in my friend's '03 WRX w/ JIC FLT-A2s and I believe those have a 7/5 rate, and it didn't seem too harsh.

Thanks again guys

Lots of nationally competitive STX WRXs run F8/R10, and some F10/R12. It may be too loose for daily driving though.

I'm probably not going to be nationally competitive, and will most likely run in Street Tire since my bro and his friend run in that category. Thanks for the rates though, do you auto-x and what are you running if you are?
