Damn a 5 page thread because someone didn't let someone else thru. This ish happens everyday, big deal get over it.

 

What Ted said. I've lived in Detroit, Chicago, several other places with insignificant traffic, and here, and the SFBay area has the highest percentage of complete ***hole drivers on the road. (The bat**** crazy drivers in Detroit are a lot crazier than they are here though. Like the guy with the box of lightbulbs he was throwing at other cars. And Chicago has worse traffic, but better drivers. But I digress . . . ) I use public transit a lot because I notice if I drive to work more than two days in a row these jerks start to drive me insane, and I risk driving as badly as they do just to get even. It was great (?) when I was still driving a 12 year old Toyota pickup, there was no way I was going to let that Lexus that just flew up beside me on the shoulder in . . .

But seriously, aside form the jerks trying t get in at the last minute (and even then unless you're driving a 12 year old Toyota pickup) it's not worth the stress, or the possible damage to your Impreza, not to be nice to someone in bad traffic! If someone needs in your lane, let them in already. When traffic clears out they'll be in your rear view mirror anyway. And if they're driving an Impreza, go out of yout way to let them in, unless you want everyone on this board to know you're a dick . . .

I'll quit ranting now.
