Thanks for the thumbs up. I was in the teal 94 Turbo Legacy wagon. I havent been recognized by a WRX owner yet, it was good to see the Subie love!

I ended up getting into a stupid argument with my friend because he "sees Legacies all the time, what's the big deal?" I've got a bunch of friends with modified Turbo Legacies back home, so I definitely appreciate your car.

Theres hardly any Turbos around here, Eastbaysubaru has a silver 93 wagon, and I saw a nice looking red 94 in Oakland last month. Other than that, Ive seen one other in the 2 plus years of owning a Legacy. I got in a stupid argument with my friend too. He doesnt understand the joys of owning a Subaru. Your car looked hot too. I saw it as soon as you pulled into the turning lane.

In Colorado, I worked for a Subaru shop, and the owner drives a '92 turbo touring wagon LE that's her baby. We rebuilt the engine with roller rockers and installed a shift kit, it's got KYB's, and slotted/cross drilled rotors. Her husband, the other owner, just bought a 5 speed sedan off of my friend Max who also works there. It's his 3rd project car though, so I have a feeling it won't be up and running any time soon. Then Max has a '93 sedan daily driver that he also rally crosses, and he's got a few things done to it, although I can't remember everything off the top of my head. I know he's got a shift kit, downpipe, and a torque chip, and he's been working on upgrading his turbo and intercooling it, but I'm not sure how far he got on his project. There's another guy in CO who had a built automatic sedan with a front mount, but he blew it up. I can think of 3 or 4 others with modified turbo Legacies in CO, there are a bunch. No one out here has any love for the Subarus built before '98, and it's really too bad. I'll point out a nice turbo GL coupe and no one else understands...oh well...
