my join date on NASIOC is 7/2000 and I know I signed up here as soon as they split. Oh well, 11/2002 is pretty old too.

hahahahaha found this old thread from NASIOC about brucelee and me arguing about AT v. MT from January 2001 -
Daniel, you are not getting mad, are you? I am kidding about most of this (Not the part where i kick your ***). All i have is springs, and intake and short shifter. I dont know where the next autoX is, i am new here. Please enlighten my "rookie wagon ***" as to where i can prove, once and for all, that MT is better than AT... Hell, ill even bring my video camera to post footage of the day the dragon went down! You can even buy me lunch when i win... Seriously though, dont take any of this personal... Iam just messing around. however, tell me When the next auto cross is, and i'll be there!!!

LMAO!

I remember this.

Daniel had a point on the center diff, but no, MT is definitely better.

Those days were awesome. 10 guys would show up with pizza and beer, Bill would be working on cars already, and Chris was get around to it when he woke up... eventually...

That particular meet was before my time, but I've been to some installfests at Randy's after that one. Randy is still around though, I see him from time to time. Oldest dude on I-club.
Randy is the guy who got me on i-club back in February 2002. With his white OBS with white wheels. Sick wagon.

And oh damn, Joe Fong. It's been a long *** time. haha

*stoked* This thread is bringinging back some cool memories! I totally remember that day, someone (maybe Alex) cleared my corners and if I'm not mistaken the nut on your crank pully was being a be-otch to break free so Shiv braced the breaker bar on the ground and turned the ignition once or twice to break it free. Also, Alex was showing off a turbo he was planning to install at the time and I remember going to some pizza joint to chill and discuss a future meet. Lol I think I remember the screw driver incident too.
Oh yeah, Since aftermarket support was slim to none back then I shopped at SPDUSA (Mike Shields), bought some LEDA coilovers with external resevoirs...
