Where to stay for Thunderhill (Willows)

Where's a cheap, clean, close by place to stay one night near Thunderhill?

Motel6 on Humbolt in Willows seems to have a $40/night rate. Any experiences?

some people really like the Ameri Suites, they're all on the same block practically.

can't really go wrong with either of the two mentioned. Amerisuites has an indoor pool that oddly enough is visible from the check in lobby.

You can stay at my place for 20 dollars a night, granted it's 1 hour aaway. lol, but seriously, kevin and a bunch of SRIC guys are in Davis/Sac, an hour away, maybe you can crash somewhere for free. I can't since I'm at my gf's all the time.

My GF's parents own a 100 acre ranch in Arbuckle (30 mins away) Maybe we can go camping out there. If enough people are interested I will inquire.

Good recommends.

For this case, I'm going up late which means I'm only using the place to sleep and nothing else. =) I'll even be showering before I get up there.

So I want cheap and clean and that's it. How's the Motel 6?

Next time, I'll go for the nicer places, but for this trip, I just need a clean bed and someplace my car won't get burglarized or stolen.
